Veniamin Kondratyev: In 2024, we collected over 540 billion rubles in our own revenues

The results of the work of the executive bodies of the Krasnodar region were discussed at the meeting of the Governor of the Krasnodar region.

"By the end of the year the economy of the region grew by 3 percent, the gross regional product exceeded 5.5 trillion rubles. At the beginning of the year we set ourselves the goal of adding at least 540 billion rubles of our own revenues to the consolidated budget. And we managed to do it. As a result, we did not reduce the funding of state programs, but only increased spending, found new opportunities for further development, and fulfilled all obligations to residents," Veniamin Kondratyev said.

First Deputy Governor Igor Galas gave more details about the financial and economic development of the region. He believes that for the last three years the region has been a leader in growth rates among the largest economies of the country. Between 2022 and 2024, the growth rate was nearly three times higher for Kuban than for Russia, standing at 17.9% in contrast to Russia's 6.3%. Key contributors to this growth include sectors such as construction, hospitality, retail, tourism, and transportation.  Among municipalities, large and medium-sized enterprises in the Novopokrovskaya, Krymsk, Kushchevskaya, Apsheronsk, and Krylovskaya districts made the largest contribution to the growth of basic industries.

By the end of 2024, corporate income tax revenues are expected to exceed 123.6 billion rubles. The growth of personal income tax (PIT), corporate property tax, as well as payments from small and medium-sized businesses is above the average Russian dynamics.

"At the end of the year, Kuban reports strong financial results.  The goal of revenue mobilization set for 2024 has been achieved. By the end of the year we will collect another 10–15 billion rubles. The increase over last year is more than 52 billion rubles. In terms of its own revenues, Kuban should traditionally maintain its leading position in the ranking of regions and take the fourth place," Igor Galas said.

Economic growth also depends on sound socio-economic policies. For the past 2.5 years, the region has been implementing a plan to ensure sustainable economic development and social stability. During this period, 19.4 billion rubles have been allocated to support businesses and the population.

According to the First Deputy Governor, the region ranks fourth among the regions in the volume of consolidated budget expenditures (732 billion rubles), as well as in social expenditures (476 billion rubles), and capital investments (136.1 billion rubles).
